The focus of these workshops relate to basic preservation activities, with hands-on training by professional instructors, involving books, pamphlets, newspapers and newspaper clippings, other paper-based items and photos. The workshops introduce people interested in bookbinding to the elements of basic book repair, including: book cleaning, repairing torn pages, re-attaching pages in a book, hinging repair and spine repair.
